In the middle of rehearsal week 2, a day before the first run through, TG4 came out to Castletown House to shoot some of the rehearsals for Slattery’s Sago Saga tour. Tristan, Paschal and Eoin seemed impressed with the grandeur of the house and the view from our office. But more than that, they seemed to enjoy the scenes Jo and the cast had prepared. Paschal, the cameraman, was chuckling away at the eyepiece and so was Eoin with the handheld. After about two hours in the rehearsal room, the crew moved into our meeting room where Tristan interviewed writer Arthur Riordan and the Gaeilgeoir in the cast, Aonghus Og McAnally.
