It has been very exciting since we announced our SPACE Production Award – production support offered to shows programmed in this year’s Absolut Fringe. After a briefing session with interested artists in the Absolut Fringe headquarters at the beginning of May, the applications started pouring in.

The panel were delighted at the diversity of the proposed projects. Five were shortlistedand after meeting and talking to the artists, gathering additional information, photographs and videos, here are the winners:

True Enough! by Making Strange

The winning projects will share professional production services worth €10,000, including a total of €1,000 cash. Recipients of the award will avail of the service of a Producer and Production Coordinator, free rehearsal space and office facilities at the company’s base in Castletown House, Celbridge.
